Description

The MM-6320D provides up to 16MB of DRAM. It supports byte, word, long word, unaligned transfers (UAT), sequential access block mode transfers (BLT) of 256 bytes for the VMEbus and 64KB for the VSB bus.

The MM-6320D is compatible with the MVME130/131, MVME135/136 and MVME141 microcomputers. It is also compatible with the MVME204/224 memory module. Furthermore, the MM-6320D is compatible with VME Delta* Series systems.

A Control Status Resister (CSR), located in the short I/O address space, stores and reads byte-wide parity errors detected on the VMEbus. By setting a CSR bit, the VMEbus port can be disabled, which transforms the VMX32/VSB bus into a private port.

Reliability is ensured by burn-in and running memory diagnostics that check operation for 48 hours while temperature-cycling boards between 0 and 60°C.
