The CoSine PCI-X module is comprised of two sub-modules: a
LogicCORE™
PCI-X interface and significant
custom backend logic contained in the control/status module.
The control/status module interfaces to the PCI-X interface module
in order to respond to target requests or to initiate requests when
needed by the PCI-X DMA engine. In addition, this module interacts
with the DMA engine to process incoming target read and write
transactions.
The
LogicCORE PCI-X module
provides the external interface. It
is responsible for implementing
the PCI bus protocol and supports split transactions. |
